Obit Robert Allison

Robert Keith “Bob” Allison, born on November 9, 1957 in Granite City IL, was called
home by the Lord on February 1, 2022 at Christus St. Michael Health System in Atlanta
TX. He was 64 years old.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Edgar Floyd Allison Sr and Mary Catherine
(Bishop) Allison; and sister Mary Virginia Wilson. He is survived by his adoring wife
Janet Ruth (Mudford) Allison of Queen City TX; son Mathew Wade Allison and wife
Haley of Hooks TX; daughters Andrea Lyn Allison of Collinsville OK, and Jodee
Elizabeth Worley and husband John of St. Peter’s MO; brother Edgar Floyd Allison Jr
and wife Phyllis Ann of Fouke AR; sisters Liz Whisenhunt of Valliant OK, and Gail
Jackson of Texarkana AR; grandchildren Sami, John, Jessa, Serenity, and Alaina; father
in law C.R. Mudford and mother in law Beverly Mudford of Fouke AR; Don brother in
law Don Mudford of Redwater TX; sisters-in-law Sharon Rodely of Jonesboro AR, and
Sandi Godfrey of Seneca MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family
and friends.

Bob worked for Red River Army Depot for 32 years until he retired in 2014. Before then,
he worked as a millwright in Texarkana. Bob was an avid hunter, fisherman, and
outdoorsman. He loved his grandchildren, and especially his kitty cat. In his free time,
Bob loved playing hand and foot card games.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Queen City
Funeral Home from 5:00 pm –7:00 pm. A funeral service in Bob’s honor will be held on
Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Queen City Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 am. This
service will be officiated by Brother Kenny Polk. Graveside services will follow at Joe
Slater Memorial Cemetery in Wright City Oklahoma beginning at 1:30 pm, officiated by
Brother Aaron Strange.
