COVID Cases Dropping

COVID cases are dropping fast, and Dr. Paul Klotman, president and CEO of the Baylor College of Medicine, says too many people in the world are still unvaccinated, particularly in Africa and parts of South Asia. U.S. cases are below the peak we saw with Delta, even though almost 40% of Americans are still unvaccinated. Then, the positivity rate in Texas had been as high as 37 percent. Now it’s around 11 percent.
