As a member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta she was active in many committees and enjoyed church fellowship. She retired as a volunteer at Atlanta Memorial Hospital with 21 years of service. Ann was an avid jigsaw puzzle worker her entire life.
Ann was a loving mother and friend to her three children, Donna Blanton of Fort Worth, Douglas (Adelaida) Blanton of Chula Vista, CA, and David (Terry) Blanton of Carmichael, CA. Ann was very proud of her seven grandchildren, Zachary Blanton, Zoe Blanton (b/d 1998), Aubrey (Nicholas) Yeung, Evan Blanton, Sharon Blanton, Kyle (Brandy) Blanton, and Jason (Naoko) Aubain. She was also blessed with five great grandchildren, Camillo, Harper, Kaname, Haruka and Avery. Ann has many nieces and nephews that she adored.
