What’s New With LK

The LKHS February Students of the Month are:

Aamyiah Mack (9th), Hayden Helm (10th), Madilyn Bynum (11th), Jayden Parton (12th).

 

 

 

 

On February 15th, Allie Watson lifted the L-K Tigers to 2nd in the region for powerlifting with her 315 lb deadlift.  This was a new personal record for Allie. 

 

 

 

 

The LKHS Track team will have a meet Friday, March 3rd at Paul Pewitt.

The L-K Junior High track team will have a Tiger relay Monday, March 6th.

The L-K Junior Varsity tennis team will be participating in a tournament at Hughes Springs on Wednesday, March 1.

The L-K Varsity tennis team will be participating in a tournament at Harmony on Thursday March 2.

 

LKHS cheerleader tryouts were held on February 20, 2023.  Congratulations to our

2023-24 Varsity Cheerleaders.

The 5th grade Gifted and Talented class spent the last month learning about different animal habitats. Student’s picked their own animals and did a report and diorama of the animal and its natural habitat.
