Floyd Wooten Obit

Floyd Wayne Wooten, age 73, of Queen City, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Monday, March 27, 2023 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. He was born September 13, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Raymond Floyd and Myra Mae Wooten. Floyd was an avid Bible scholar and loved the Lord. He thought he could fix anything and was even his own doctor most of the time. Floyd had a huge, giving heart.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Wooten; and his parents.

Floyd is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Wooten and wife Sheila of Douglassville, Texas, Sidney C. Wooten and wife Brenda of Queen City, Texas; sisters, Jeannie Heitz of Germantown Hills, Illinois, Bonnita Matsuda and husband Percy of Gonzales, Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews and other friends and family.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Courtland Cemetery, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Pastor Ben Aguirre officiating.
